We take pride not in only the quality of our work but also in how quickly we are able to get families back into their homes. One of our highest priorities is to you get you back to normalcy as soon as we can while pursuing the very best for your home. have a look below at a few examples of what we strive to accomplish with every project.

Completed in 2018, revitalizing this over 110 year old farm house (built in 1905!) was special not just for its age, but also its history. Many of the stones that were used in its original construction were, according to neighbors whose parents and grandparents had been there when it was built, pulled by mule up from the river several miles away. We used as many of these stones as we could, both in repairs to the front porch and as stepping stones in the path from the driveway. Many of the wooden boards that served as walls 100 years ago still bore the marks of saw blades from when they were milled. We were fortunate to preserve some of these and incorporated them into accents throughout the house, such as in the mud room and kitchen. We take joy in preserving the character and history of the properties that we are privileged to bring new life to!

Built in the late 1940s and victim of a fire sometime in the 70s, this house had already been through a lot and was close to falling down when we arrived. Then Covid-19 struck and the project, along with everything else, ground to a halt. But, ever the survivor, this home powered through with us. Like all of our revitalization projects we strive to salvage little details from the original house and incorporate them into the new incarnation, in this case keeping the cedar shakes in the gables and the re-using the amazing granite slabs for the front steps and in the fire pit area. This house will forever hold a special place in our memories as something beautiful that came out of a dark time, and gave a young family a place to call home.

This home burned almost to the ground just one week before Christmas in 2010. Most builders would probably have knocked it all over and started fresh, but the home was precious to its owners, and they wanted to save as much of the original structure as it was reasonable to. All that could be salvaged was the foundation, part of the lower floor system, and a section of exterior wall. Although heartbreaking for the homeowners, with careful planning and determined execution we set out to make their new dream into reality, and this beautiful home was brought back better than ever. It stands today as a shining example of the craftsmanship and detail that we strive to bring to all of our projects.

This home was ravaged by a fire and had been sitting vacant for several months when we arrived. The previous owner had elected to simply sell the property and walk away. The time it sat empty after the fire had not been kind, as the exposure to the elements had allowed rain to fall directly into the house and brought along significant mold and rot in addition to the fire damage. But our decades-long background in insurance repair (fire, wind, water damage) made this project perfect for us. Now home to a new family, this house is better than ever and among our favorite restorations.

This little property was in rough shape when we arrived. Built around 1940, decades of misuse and neglect had aged this house well beyond its years. But even so, the potential was there, and we knew just how to bring it out. One of our earliest, this project remains a favorite example of the importance of maintaining positivity and vision. This ramshackle old building is a home once again.
